How long can you run HVAC without a thermostat?
I only recommend bypassing long enough to test operation, or to get temporary relief while you’re actively monitoring the system.
Here’s why: without a thermostat, the system does not know when to stop. It will keep running until you shut it off.

- Remove the jumper.
